Offered is a mid century modern set of six chrome and new upholstery Pierre Cardin dining chairs. Pierre Cardin is a French designer who is largely known for his geometric and masculine fashion designs. However, behind his menswear pieces there also lies an incredible furniture designer. Cardin studied architecture in Paris in the 1940s before becoming the head designer for Christian Dior in 1947. Three years later he started his own design house where he received acclaim for his costumes for the Venetian Masquerade Ball. Though he spent much of his career in the fashion world, he also designed a large collection of gorgeous furniture in the 1970s and 1980s. Offered are six vintage modern and elegant dining chairs in the style of Pierre Cardin with a chrome-frame and new upholstery. The set includes two armchairs and four side chairs.
