Charles Hollis Jones is an American artist and furniture designer who has been recognized by the Smithsonian Institute for his pioneering use of Lucite. His work was well received by both art critics and Hollywood celebrities alike. Frank Sinatra, Lucille Ball and Johnny Carson were among some of the first to commission Jones to design pieces for their homes. His work has been featured in a number of museums. The Los Angeles Times has referred to him as a “Pioneer in acrylic design.”
