Offered is a pair of signed Hollywood regency Grosfeld House black lacquer and brass side tables. Grosfeld House Furniture Company led the up-market modern yet classical movement in furniture design and manufacture starting in the early 20th century. The style would become known as “Hollywood Regency” and the movement, “Hollywood Glam.” Some of these early 20th century pieces became iconic. Grosfeld House employed famous designers early on in their careers, such as, Vladimir Kagan and Lorin Jackson. Grosfeld House produced pieces that were edgy but, however, sophisticated. The quality of the construction of their pieces was impeccable. Grosfeld House designs were both modern and classical and always iconic. The pair are finished on all sides
