Offered is a framed in white midcentury Pop art piece by Robert Indiana signed and dated with enamel on metal entitled, “Star of Hope”, dated 1972. Robert Indiana (1928- 2018) was an American artist and a central figure in the Pop art movement beginning in the 1960s. Indiana was made famous after producing his “LOVE” piece. Indiana was a great social commentator through his tongue and cheek images. Indiana recently passed and his presence in the art world will be greatly missed. Image size: 6″ x 6″
