Aldo Tura, was an iconic Italian artist-craftsman who in 1930s started a furniture manufacturing and design firm. He is well-known for his innovative forms, materials and for the accuracy in producing each piece in a limited series. Tura produced his pieces using only the highest techniques to realize them. His pieces, although quite unique, are easily identifiable with his use of strong colors such as red, green, yellow and is distinctive and unmistakable use of leather, goatskin and bronze.
