Fornasetti Style Italian Mid Century Modern Greek Revival Antiqued Mirror

Offered is a mid century modern in the style of Fornasetti Greek Revival antiqued mirror. While a majority of Fornasetti’s works are decoupaged, this piece has been manufactured by using a method referred to as “Verre Eglomise`” which is a process of applying both a design and gilding into the rear face of the glass to produce a mirror finish. This grande wall mirror is incredibly relevant to what is “in” for design and fashion forward. Its white Grecian figures transposed into the back of the black mirror ups the drama ante. This piece would look fabulous in a dining room. Formal living room, powder room, dressing room and/or bedroom.
