Offered are a S/3 Italian Mid-Century Modern stacking tables of painted wood designed by Ico Parisi for Singer & Sons. Post war, high-end furniture manufacturer, Morris Singer of Singer & Sons became enamored with post war Italian modern furniture design and contracted with Gio Ponti to design and manufacture, in Italy, furniture pieces under the Singer & Sons label. Gio Ponti enlisted several of the Italian furniture designers of the time to participate in the designing of furniture pieces for Singer & Son. Ico Parisi came up with this striking design of stacking tables for Singer & Sons. I do not believe that the current finish is the original finish. It appears to be a white stain or chalk paint in a creamy white. We can change the finish for a small up-charge to any finish the purchaser would like. The referenced tables were purchased at auction in Palm Springs. The tables were with only one owner that purchased them directly from Singer & Sons.
