Offered is a s/7 mid century modern fade highball cocktail glasses in the style of Dorothy Thorpe. A stunning set of seven Mid-Century Tom Collins glasses decorated with a technique referred to as Mercury Fade. Creating an ombre effect, this method of decoration did not use highly toxic mercury in the process. Instead, a solution of silver nitrate was applied and sealed onto the glass.
